Monk fruit - latest sugar alternate

"The monk fruit seems to be a recent Sweetener alternate, which i wanted to try. The pack consists of 30 sachets for use. I substitutes monk fruit with Erythritol in 1:1 ratio to sugar. It add distinct tastes to food, that might take some time to get used to, but the health benefits with no sugar spike is a good reason to switch. Overall packing and portability of the sachets is a big plus for me."

30 Monkfruit sweetener pack

"I'm quite impressed this monkfruit sweetener is very similar to sugar in my tea and in lemonade. It doesn't have any strange aftertaste and not too sweet either. The one pack looks like a lot, but it's not overwhelmingly sweet even though I had heard monkfruit is much sweeter than sugar. Not sure how they did it, but it's a very good sugar substitute."

Great for on the go

"Erythritol is the best of the sugar alternatives and this is a great format for it. Now I can finally carry it everywhere and use it on the go instead of other sweeteners in these more convenient packets. Tastes normal and what you expect; I often rip one of these into a sparkling water to get closer to soda and it works great for me."

Good sweetness, 0 calories and 0 sugar!

"These individually wrapped Lakanto classic monkfruit sweetener packets are perfect for on the go use. You can keep some in your purse or your vehicle so that you can sweeten coffee or tea on the go. These are fantastic because they have 0 sugar and 0 calories, so you can get your sweetened drink without having to sacrifice calories or adding unneeded sugar. This is my first time trying this sweetener and it has good flavor, for me one packet is enough for a coffee or tea and I could even maybe just use once. It is sweet and tastes good."

Convenient little packs

"I've used Lakanto sugars for many years to avoid the blood sugar hit of real sugar. I particularly use their golden granular one for baking. But I was looking for something convenient for my coffee, and these packs are exactly that. The small packs are perfect for adding to coffee. Convenient for guests too."

DK (5/5)

Perfect

"While perhaps bit pricey, you get the convenience of individual packets to add your favorite sugar replacement blend to your drinks without having to get out the large bag and measure it out with a spoon. This also lends itself well to taking to work or coffee shops as needed."

Quotacious (5/5)

indeed sweeter

"On the box packaging, it says 2X sweeter. That's my opinion as well. Take into consideration this is simply comparing it to a regular packet of regular sugar. As a result, using a full pack is technically equivalent to the equivalent of two. Therefore, use and adjust accordingly. It's nice that they're individually packed, but also because I find myself using so little, perhaps I would've preferred it come in a bulk package, and I scoop out what I want instead of having half open packets lying around. It's also an interesting blend because it's not just monkfruit, but also erythritol as well. To me, can't tell the difference, just an alternative to sugar, minue the chemical after taste like other artificial sweeteners."

The monk fruit part is good

"Monk fruit sweetness is good as it is from the monk fruit but I am not sure about the erythritol added into this. If the erythritol is made from monk fruit then its a good thing but if its just the artificial version, then its no difference than any artificial sweetener. I would prefer the ingredients only monk fruit and minus the erythritol. erythritol is not exactly good for the health. Nevertheless, it does the job as a 0 calories sugar though."

Great sweetener

"I have used monk fruit sweetener in liquid form and it is excellent as a low calorie, low glycemic index sweetener. And it is very sweet - a little goes a long way. Thse Lakanto sweetner packets also contain erythritol, but I don't taste any chemical aftertaste. Unlike my liquid monkfruit sweetener, I can carry these packets in my purse. And I much prefer the taste of monk fruit over any of the other sweetener. These are a bit pricy at $10. 00 CAD for 30 packets. But if I recall, my pure liquid monkfruit sweetener was even pricier than this but it does not contain erythritol."

Great for travel

"I chose the Lakanto Classic Monkfruit Sweetener to use in my morning tea as a sugar substitute. I find it is perfect in providing the sweetness that I desire while avoiding the calories. It dissolves well in my hot tea and has no taste other than sweet. I love these being in packets as I've got an upcoming trip to Europe and I'll be able to take these for easy use while I'm away."
